With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to provide a framework of compassionate care for our clients. Helping Hands creates programs to help our clients meet current challenges. 

(Summer) Supplement Bags  

During the summer months when children are not in school, Helping Hands extends weekly supplement bags to families with students to help keep tummies full. Additionally, we periodically distribute supplement bags throughout the year.

School Supply Drive  

Each August, Helping Hands distribute school supplies to our clients with students living within the DSISD boundaries. Please click here to determine if your location qualifies. Pre-registration is encouraged to help our team prepare for the necessary school supplies. 

Project Elf

This is a culmination of loving efforts by this entire town... businesses, public and private schools, community groups, churches, and individuals come together to provide presents for our clients to help make their holidays more magical. Available for children who reside in the DSISD boundaries. Please click here to determine if your location qualifies.
